Result of Lip Fillers
Immediately after the treatment, you’ll see some changes, as your lips will already have gained some volume. Some of this is due to swelling. You can reduce swelling by properly cooling, for example, with a cold pack. After 2 weeks, you’ll see the optimal result of your full lips. The volume will last for about 6 to 9 months.
If you’re not satisfied with the result, you can return to your practitioner for a follow-up appointment 2 to 4 weeks after the treatment. Always wait for the full 2 weeks for the optimal result. If your lips are fuller than you wanted, you can opt for a hyaluronidase treatment to reduce them to the desired level.
Aftercare for Lip Fillers
After the lip filler treatment, you can move the treated area normally. However, avoid massaging or rubbing on and around the lips for up to 48 hours after the treatment unless instructed otherwise by the practitioner. It’s common to experience swelling and bruising after the treatment, and it’s recommended to cool the area well.

We advise against wearing makeup immediately after getting lip fillers. Only do so once the injection sites have closed after a few hours. We also recommend avoiding hot drinks or food for the first 4 hours after the treatment.
Immediately after the treatment, the lips will be slightly swollen. This swelling is visible for a few days and can be reduced by cooling your lips well. In the days following your treatment, the swelling will decrease, and the final result of the lip fillers will be visible.
