Spring is in the air and florals are appearing in our scrapbooks! To help add a little greenery to your layouts, we’ll show you how to use the Birds & Blossoms collection and the Fresh Flower Punch to create beautiful springtime projects. Keep reading to see how you can make a variety of flower cutouts using just the Fresh Flower Punch!

To create the borders and card you will need:

Hello, Spring Border:

Step 1: Cut a piece of greenery paper to measure 12″ x 3-1/4″. Use this piece as the base of the border.

Step 2: Cut a piece of Blue Solid Cardstock to measure 12″ x 3″ using the 12-inch Trimmer and the Wave Blade. Adhere to the base of the border.

Step 3: Cut a piece of speckled paper to measure 12″ x 2-3/4″.

Step 4: Punch 13 circles from orange watercolor paper using the Circle Punch. Adhere to the speckled strip. Use a scissors to cut off any excess.

Step 5: Punch 13 flowers using the Fresh Flower Punch with rain paper. Adhere to the middle of each circle. Cut off any excess with scissors. (Set the circle cutouts from the inside of the Fresh Flower Punch aside for the Springtime Memories border. Set the petal punchouts from the rain flowers aside to use on the “Love” card.)

Step 6: Adhere the speckled strip to the border.

Step 7: Adhere stickers to the border using Foam Squares for the title.

Step 8: Using the Fresh Flower Punch, punch flowers from canary plaid paper. Use the circle cutouts to adhere to the middle of the rain paper flowers. (Set the canary plaid flowers aside to use on the “Love” card.)

Springtime Memories Border

Step 1: Cut a piece of Baby Blue Solid Cardstock to measure 3-1/4″ x 12″. Use as the base of the border.

Step 2: Cut a piece of rain paper to measure 3″ x 12″. Adhere to the border.

Step 3: Cut two pieces of spring floral paper to measure 1/2″ x 12″. Adhere along the edges of the rain paper.

Step 4: Using the Square Punch, punch five squares from canary plaid paper. Adhere to the border.

Step 5: Using the Fresh Flower Punch, punch five flowers from each of the following papers: orange watercolor, birdhouses and greenery. (Set the greenery circle cutouts from the inside of the Fresh Flower Punch aside for the “Love” card.) Place the orange watercolor flower offset from the greenery flower, and the birdhouses flower on the opposite side. Adhere to the middle of each canary plaid square. Using the Precision Point Adhesive Pen, adhere the rain paper circle cutouts (saved from Hello, Spring border) to the middles of the flowers.

Step 6: Adhere stickers to the border using Foam Squares.

Love Card

Step 1: Cut a piece of Canary Solid Cardstock to measure 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Fold in half to create the card.

Step 2: Cut a piece of rain paper to measure 5-1/4″ x 4″.

Step 3: Cut a piece of white greenery paper to measure 5″ x 3-3/4″. Adhere to the top of the rain paper.

Step 4: Cut a piece of orange watercolor paper to measure 1-3/4″ x 6″. Adhere at an angle on top of the rain and white greenery pieces. Trim any excess with a scissors.

Step 5: Adhere the leaves laser cut border along the edges of the orange watercolor strip. Cut off any excess with a scissors.

Step 6: Adhere this whole piece to the front of the card.

Step 7: Using three canary plaid flowers (saved from the Hello, Spring Border) adhere to the card.

Step 8: Using the inside petal pieces from the rain paper (Hello, Spring Border), adhere to the middle of the canary plaid flowers using the Precision Point Adhesive Pen.

Step 9: Using the greenery centers (left from the Springtime Memories Border), adhere to the centers of the flowers using the Precision Point Adhesive Pen.

Step 10: Adhere the “Love” sticker to the card using Foam Squares.
